281 Technologies is a Texas-based LLC founded by Chris and Elaine Rothlis. Chris and Elaine have estalished an ecosystem of skilled individuals to assist on larger jobs.
Chris has held many roles over a 40 year career that includes working for KPMG’s CIO Advisory team where he helped state and local governments and commercial companies develop and implement IT strategies. Chris has also served as the CTO for two different Telecom companies where he navigated the complexities of technology investments, Engineering, and Operations Management. While serving as Senior Vice President of Global Network Operations for Bank of America, Chris successfully managed the operation of the largest private banking network in the world. These experiences have helped Chris gain a unique perspective on the use of technology in business.
After a career spent in the health care industry as an LVN, Elaine Rothlis has developed many skills related to understanding customers and ensuring their issues and concerns are addressed. The complexities involved in medical care has taught Elaine to learn technical information quickly, and that speed to understanding is very apparant to all of our customers.
Chris and Elaine have settled in Blanco, Texas and are focusing on bringing their skills and experience to Small Businesses and Residential customers in the Texas Hill Country, while still doing some government Advisory work.
